In a relatively short period of time, Dr. Squatch has attracted &#8220;millions of happy customers.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Our goal is to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier. <\/p>\n<cite>Jack Haldrup, Founder and CEO<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has a noble mission to make products that are natural, omit harmful ingredients, and are made specifically for men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While their site has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"97098\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch About Us\">in-depth info<\/a> on their ingredients and practices, suffice it to say that their products are made from at least 98% natural ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-i-tried\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_I_Tried\"><\/span>What I Tried<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the Dr. Squatch products that I tested:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deodorant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bar soap<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shampoo and conditioner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let&#8217;s get onto the review&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-deodorant\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Deodorant\"><\/span>The Deodorant<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time of writing, Dr. Squatch offers seven different scents of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-deodorant-collections\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97099\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Deodorant Collections\">deodorant<\/a>. All rights reserved.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite their rugged outdoorsy names, these aren&#8217;t robust, masculine-smelling deodorants \u2014 they smell similar to Old Spice or Axe. They&#8217;re kind of sweet, adolescent scents. That&#8217;s good or bad, depending on personal preference, but I&#8217;d love to see them start offering some unscented options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scent aside, the deodorant <em>does<\/em> work well. In fact, I wouldn&#8217;t know it was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/best-natural-deodorants\/\" data-lasso-id=\"158487\">natural deodorant<\/a> without reading it on the container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-bar-soap\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Bar_Soap\"><\/span>The Bar Soap<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Squatch offers their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-bar-soap-collection\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97103\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Bar Soap Collection\">bar soap<\/a> in three levels of coarseness; zero grit, medium grit, and heavy grit. That&#8217;s awesome of them, as different guys have different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/mens-skin-care-basics\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97104\">skincare needs<\/a> and preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-deep-sea-goat-milk-soap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"97105\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Deep Sea Goat Milk Bar Soap\">Deep Sea Goat&#8217;s Milk<\/a> scent, which is medium grit. This soap smells <em>very<\/em> good. All rights reserved.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, using the soap wasn&#8217;t great for me personally as it felt drying and left my skin feeling tight. I&#8217;d compare it to Castille soap. If you like Castille soap, then I think Dr. Squatch&#8217;s soap would be a solid option for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The soap had a nice lather to it which is a plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-deep-sea-goat-milk-soap\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97106\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Deep Sea Goat Milk Bar Soap\">The Goat&#8217;s Milk soap<\/a> is the only one I tested, but I also got the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-grapefruit-ipa-bar-soap\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97107\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Grapefruit IPA Bar Soap\">Grapefruit IPA<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/dr-squatch-pine-tar-bar-soap\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97108\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-lasso-name=\"Dr. Squatch Pine Tar Bar Soap\">Pine Tar<\/a> scents. They smell nice too. I&#8217;m talking between seven and ten ingredients per bar, and I actually kind of know what most of the ingredients are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no long chemical names. Their soap has oils like olive oil, sustainable palm oil and coconut oil. With my coarse, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/curly-hairstyles-for-men\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97113\">curly hair<\/a>, shampoo doesn&#8217;t seem to do me any favors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my case, using shampoo and conditioner feels like an odd cycle of using shampoo to suck all of the moisture from my hair and then using conditioner to try to re-hydrate it. It irritates my scalp too. I don&#8217;t know that I get any benefits from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That being said, that&#8217;s just how <em>my<\/em> body is. They just offer shampoo and conditioner that doesn&#8217;t irritate my scalp as much as non-natural ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/scalp-care\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97114\">scalp and hair to be clean<\/a> and hydrated and regular shampoo doesn&#8217;t work well for you, I recommend avoiding Dr. Squatch and using aloe vera gel instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you like using shampoo and conditioner as part of your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themodestman.com\/what-is-manscaping\/\" data-lasso-id=\"97115\">grooming routine<\/a>, then I say give Dr. Squatch a shot!
